Overview
Drywall is the surface every other finish sits on. Wavy board, proud screws or a seam that catches raking light will show through paint, panelling and trim forever.
We hang, tape and finish to the level the space needs — and we're honest about which level that is, because Level 5 on a hallway ceiling is money spent for nothing.

Finishing levels
Level 4 for most painted walls; Level 5 skim where gloss paint or heavy raking light will punish anything less.
Corners

Sanding managed with vacuum-assisted tools and containment, because drywall dust gets everywhere and stays there.

What's the difference between Level 4 and Level 5?
Level 4 finishes joints and fasteners. Level 5 adds a skim coat over the entire surface so texture is uniform — worth it under gloss paint or strong side light, unnecessary otherwise.
Can you remove popcorn ceilings?
Yes. Note that ceilings sprayed before the early 1990s can contain asbestos and should be tested first — we won't scrape an untested older ceiling.
How long does a basement take?
Hanging and finishing a typical basement runs about one to two weeks depending on size and how many coats need drying time between them.
Do you paint as well?
We do — running drywall and paint together means one crew owns the finished result instead of two trades blaming each other.
